Alain Llorens – Founder and Chairman

Alain Llorens has been active in the Internet industry since 1994 and is an experienced business development professional and entrepreneur.  In addition to creating AT Internet, he started three other companies in the areas of real estate and business consulting, served on the Board of Directors of the University of Bordeaux School of Communication & Business, and worked as vice-president of Aquitaine Amorçage, a Venture Capital Fund.

Alain attended the Iinstitute for Political Science, graduated from the International Relations Institute, and is a permanent member of the Practical School for Superior Studies.  

Alain is currently Chairman of AT Internet and acts as chief strategist for the company he built with Sebastien Carriot and his son Mathieu.

 

Mathieu Llorens – Chief Executive Officer

Mathieu Llorens joined AT Internet in 2000 and is now CEO.  He is also a professor of web marketing at the University of Bordeaux.

Mathieu obtained a post-graduate degree in Information Sciences (Online Audience Measurement) and is also a certified professor of literature. Mathieu is regularly invited to speak at business schools. 

 

Sébastien Carriot – Chief Technology Officer

Sébastien joined AT Internet in 1996 and became a Partner in 1998.  Sebastien has played a key role in establishing XiTi as the industry standard in France.  In ten years, he has built a wide network within the worldwide online community.  He currently supervises the development projects at XiTi Labs and manages the entire technical team.

A pioneer in web analytics in Europe, Sébastien also created site-centric Hit Parade in 1997 before working on XiTi.

 

Nicolas Babin – COO & Executive VP Marketing

Nicolas Babin is in charge of all international development and marketing activity.

Nicolas started his career at the Banque Nationale de Paris in San Francisco (California) in 1989.
He then moved to head up CATS Software (derivative and risk management software) North America administration based in Palo Alto (California). He actively participated in CATS’ Initial Public Offering in March 1995. He then became CATS’ EMEA Managing Director based in London (UK).
In July 1997, Nicolas joined Etak (digital map company) a unit of the Sony group as European Managing Director.
In 2001 Nicolas transferred to Sony and became European Managing Director for Sony Entertainment Robot Europe based in London and Brussels.  He launched the Sony AIBO (artificially intelligent robot).
In 2004 Nicolas became Director of Corporate Communications Europe for Sony Europe GmbH, based in Berlin. He was responsible for all internal and external communication for Sony’s operation in Europe.
Nicolas has served on many international boards - the UK/French Chamber of commerce in London; CUE Inc, a US based company specialized in RDS/TMC messages; the Entertainment Robot Company (Japan);  l’école supérieure des Ingénieurs Commerciaux (Bordeaux).

Nicolas holds a BA in Computer Science and an MBA. He is bilingual, French/English; fluent in German and has basic notions in Spanish, Dutch and Japanese.

 

Cyril Mazeau – Chief Financial Officer

Cyril is currently AT Internet’s CFO.  

Prior to AT Internet, Cyril worked at the French Embassy in Madrid and at the European Venture Capital and Private Equity Association in Brussels.

Cyril graduated from the Institute of Political Science, Bordeaux. He  holds a post-graduate degree in European Law and obtained his MBA from Institut de Empresa Spain in 2006. He is fluent in French, Spanish, and English.

 

Dr. Gérald Bignonneau – R&D Manager

Gérald joined AT Internet in 2000 and is now R&D Manager.  He is a professor in web marketing at University of Bordeaux that prepares for the Traffic Manager career.

Gérald has a PhD in Chemical and Physiques from the University of Bordeaux. After more than 3 years in research and having published many articles, he decided to change and invested in web analytics. This is when he joined AT Internet.
Working very closely with Sébastien Carriot, he monitors new technologies that would allow AT Internet to stay on top of all on line intelligence systems. 

 

Pablo ROMAN CASSO – Country Manager Spain

Pablo Roman Casso, is in charge of the implementation of the commercial strategy and customer relationship for the company in Spain and the Spanish speaking countries.

He started his career in marketing in Alitalia, the Italian flag carrier, where he had the opportunity to expand and implement CRM and data analysis Processes for the South West Europe office in Spain.

He then moved to Amadeus, where he held various positions of growing responsibilities over 8 years.

Pablo holds a degree in Economic Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and an Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (2007).
Spanish native, speaks fluently English, Italian and has basic notions of French. 

 

Dennis Varganyi – Country Manager Canada

Dennis Varganyi began his professional career at IBM Canada where he sold services to monitor server performance.  Since this time he has spent six years in France where he has proudly mastered French!  He has held Senior International Sales Positions with local channel intelligence leader compuBase.net and renown media player CNET Networks.

A native of Toronto, Canada where he completed his Bachelor of Arts Honours (English / History class of 1998) Dennis is returning home to launch AT Internet’s Canadian division.

A true ‘Canuck’ Dennis enjoys hockey, fishing, golf and spending time with his wife and two daughters in their new hometown of Montréal.

 

Timo von Focht – Country Manager Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Timo began his career at Infraforces in Paris. He supervised various panels in the IT sector. He then became Germany account manager for Compubase in Paris where he was responsible for all German speaking countries.

Since 2005, Timo has been living and working out of Munich. He held a key account manager position for CNET Direct and since 2007 has been the key account manager online for Chip Xonio Online GmbH.

Timo graduated from the University of Passau (Germany) in international business and in languages.
He is trilingual, German, French and English. He is fluent in Italian and has basics of Spanish

 

  Walid Robert Norris, Country Manager United Kingdom & Ireland

Walid Robert has over 6 years experience working in online marketing and customer centricity initiatives. With a focus on driving measurable sales, he has experience of both designing online strategy and the day-to-day challenges of running online campaigns in a multi-country environment. His areas of expertise include: Web Analytics, Community Marketing, Customer Retention, Online Campaign Management and the acclaimed Net Promoter Score methodology.

With a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Business Commerce from The University of Birmingham’s Business School, Walid Robert started his career in Brussels at Sony Europe heading up the online and community marketing activities of Sony’s flagship entertainment robot products. He then moved to Sony Europe’s online store to design and implement the traffic generation and customer retention programmes. After a move to London, he worked as a management consultant at BMW Group focusing on online marketing and ecommerce.

Walid Robert is multilingual, native in English, French and Italian.
