What we collect, and why

Just as we help companies track and optimise their digital activity, we also take the same analytic approach with our own sites and communications. By measuring activity on our own web and mobile sites, we can better evaluate which types of content and formats are interesting and valuable for our visitors.

Our digital properties are the following: our websites www.atinternet.com and www.xiti.com, and our blog blog.atinternet.com, in all their language versions.

Data collected automatically via our audience measurement solution

To measure audience on digital properties, we collect different types of information.

  • ID-type information: cookie ID, mobile ID, IP address. After being collected, this data is used for real-time processing in order to generate a visitor ID (hashing is applied on source data) and to calculate geolocation information (which is never more granular than the city- or region-level, depending on the country). The raw data collected is never shown in our interfaces.

  • Digital analytics information: data related to Internet users’ navigation:
    • the type of browser used
    • the number of page views
    • the exact navigational path a visitor takes on the site
    • the amount of time spent on a page, or the entire site
    • shopping cart activity (items placed in cart, abandons, etc.)
    • other types of navigational data

Within the framework of the definitions given by Article 4 of the GDPR, we consider that all the data we collect is considered as “personal data” and as such we apply the same attention and the same level of protection to it.

Data explicitly provided by visitors

We collect personal data when our visitors explicitly provide it by entering information on the “Contact us” page or on other sign-up and contact forms on AT Internet’s sites.

This data is used for sales and marketing purposes.

  • If I explicitly provide personal data, for how long is it kept? Personal data that visitors provide via a contact form are only kept for as long as necessary to carry out the function for which the data was collected.

  • If I explicitly provide personal data, who can access it? Does AT Internet share this data with other companies? Personal data collected by AT Internet is neither shared nor sold to third parties. The number of AT Internet employees who have access to this data is very limited, and these individuals are fully aware of the extreme confidentiality of this data.

Tracking performance of our communications

To measure and optimise the performance of our marketing communications, we track the following statistics on our email newsletters and invitations:

  • open rate
  • clicks
  • unsubscribe rate

Users wishing to unsubscribe from AT Internet’s newsletters can do so via the link at the bottom of each newsletter or by contacting onlinemarketing@atinternet.com.

We may also contact visitors whose data is present in our databases to inform them of AT Internet events, webinars and/or all product information that we judge interesting for them (unless a visitor has unsubscribed from our communications).

Third-party services we may use

AT Internet may work with various third parties in order to provide the below services or features to our website visitors. These services, provided by our partners, are meant to make our sites more interactive and enable AT Internet content to be shared on social networks.

We suggest our website visitors consult our partners’ privacy policies.

* These third parties, via their cookies, will collect and use your browsing data for their own purposes, in accordance with their privacy policy.

Manage your cookie consent via the Privacy Centre.

Length of data conservation and storage

Analytics data (collected and processed) is kept for 25 months from the date of collection.

Within the framework of its Analytics service, AT Internet hosts the data with the following service providers:

  • SFR
  • Amazon Web Services

These guarantee data hosting within the European Union.

Other data collected for marketing and prospection means are kept for 3 years. This data is collected directly by AT Internet and is stored and processed in the European Union or United States.

In the event of a transfer outside the European Union, we ensure that the processing operation in question is governed 1/by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission guaranteeing an adequate level of protection of privacy and fundamental rights of individuals and 2/ that the service provider adheres to the “E.U.- U.S. Privacy Shield Arrangement”.
