Landing page

Glossary

Landing page

A landing page is the webpage on which an Internet user arrives after clicking on a hyperlink (whether that link was an advertisement, a link in an email or newsletter, a call-to-action button, or other…).

Specific landing pages are used often for promotional and email campaigns, as well as for search engine indexing and SEO. In fact, a landing page can be very effective in bringing users directly to information they’re looking for, and to content which interests them. A landing page can therefore be used in several different ways: to drive users to content that interests them, and to drive maximum traffic (thanks to long-tail search queries).
